THE CORNISH JEWELLERY COMPANY

The Cornish jewellery company is a husband and wife team ( Martin and Alison ) making  cornish pewter jewellery in the hamlet of Botallack , West Cornwall .

Pewter is an ancient alloy of metals , most notably Tin (92%) and Copper and the small workshop where the jewellery is designed and made sits on top one of the most famous Tin mining areas of the world . This area precariously standing at the edge of the land where it meets the wild Atlantic ocean , is still dotted with remnants of that long gone industry but replacing the sounds of the machinery are now the calls of the Choughs and Ravens that live here and they provide an inspiration to bring together the spirits of the historical land and its nature to help us make our cornish jewellery..
